一、课程简介/Course Description
本课程是工商管理和公共管理专业研究生以及管理学大类本研贯通本科生的方法选修课程。本课程旨在帮助学生掌握元分析方法,能够使用相关数据分析工具开展定量文献综述和实证研究系统回顾。主要内容包括元分析概述和研究流程、元分析的选题和理论创新、元分析的编码和发表偏差检验、元分析的估计模型和整合策略、双变量关系元分析、多变量关系元分析、基于结构方程模型的元分析、中介效应元分析、调节效应元分析、被中介的调节效应元分析、被调节的中介效应元分析等内容。
This course is a methodology elective for graduate students in business administration and public administration, as well as for undergraduate students pursuing graduate studies in management. The course aims to help students master meta-analytic methods and be able to conduct quantitative literature reviews and empirical research systematic reviews using relevant data analysis tools. The main contents include overview of meta-analysis and research process, topic selection and theoretical innovation of meta-analysis, coding and publication bias test of meta-analysis, estimation model and integration strategy of meta-analysis, bivariate relationship meta-analysis, multivariate relationship meta-analysis, meta-analysis based on structural equation modeling, mediated effects meta-analysis, moderating effects meta-analysis, mediated moderating effects meta-analysis, mediated moderating effects meta-analysis, and so on.
二、课程目标与任务/Course Objectives and Tasks
本课程的目标与任务如下:
1、知识体系目标:掌握元分析的基本原理、选题和创新策略和实施步骤,能够独立开展元分析研究设计;
2、分析能力目标:熟悉元分析编码的要点以及发表偏差检验的基本方法,能够熟练使用元分析软件进行编码者一致性评价和发表偏差检验;
3、应用能力目标:能够独立完成元分析研究,熟练使用元分析软件开展双变量、多变量关系检验,能够开展中介和调节效应元分析;
4、情感素养目标:通过对国内外元分析方法的掌握以及元分析文献的阅读,理解中国企业目前面临的机遇、挑战及其解决策略,培养学生的国际视野、本土情怀和责任意识。
The objectives and tasks of this course are as follows:
1. Knowledge ability goal: Master the basic principles of meta-analysis, topic selection and innovation strategies and implementation steps, and be able to independently carry out meta-analysis research design;
2. Analysis ability goal: To be familiar with the main points of meta-analysis coding and the basic method of publication bias test, able to skillfully use meta-analysis software for coder consistency evaluation and publication bias test;
3. Application ability goal: To be able to independently complete the meta-analysis research, skilled use of meta-analysis software to carry out bivariate and multivariate relationship tests, and to be able to carry out mediation and moderating effects meta-analysis;
4. Emotional literacy objectives: Through the mastery of meta-analysis methods and the reading of meta-analysis literature, to understand the opportunities and challenges that Chinese enterprises are currently facing and their solution strategies, and to cultivate students' international vision, local sentiment and sense of responsibility.
三、教学方法/Teaching Methods
本课程采用的教学方法包括课堂讲授、上机操作、案例讨论、小组汇报、线上视频和互动讨论、课后作业等。除了课堂多媒体讲授外,课堂上还要求学生自带电脑进行元分析软件的上机操作,提升学生对元分析方法的掌握程度;课堂上会开展案例讨论和小组汇报,要求学生选取本领域顶刊上的元分析论文进行汇报讲解和交流;此外学生还可以通过课后观看学习通线上视频和互动讨论的方式对所学知识点进行巩固;最后学生需要完成一篇完整的元分析论文作业。
The teaching methods used in this course include classroom lectures, practical exercises, case discussions, group debriefings, online videos and interactive discussions, and post-course assignments. In addition to classroom multimedia lectures, students are required to bring their own computers to operate the meta-analysis software in the classroom to enhance their mastery of meta-analysis methods; case discussions and group reports will be carried out in the classroom, and students are required to select meta-analysis papers in the top journals of the field for reporting, explanation and exchanges; in addition, students can also consolidate the knowledge they have learned by watching the Learning Channel online videos and interactive discussions after class; Finally, students are required to complete a full meta-analysis paper assignment.
四、课程特色/Course Features
目前元分析在临床医学领域开展的比较多,比如询证医学、询证社会科学等课程,国内管理学领域开设此课程的院校较少。在课程体系设计上,本课程需要突出管理研究中的元分析研究与方法特色。由于元分析中往往会涉及较多统计学知识和较为繁琐的推导过程,而管理学元分析研究更加注重元分析方法的应用,故本课程在设计上突出了元分析方法的应用和实操。在课堂上,学生们可以通过大量研究案例以及软件的实际操作,快速掌握元分析的整个过程。同时,通过学生们对国内外顶刊元分析论文的分组汇报,提升大家对元分析研究要点的把握以及对元分析实施流程的理解程度。最后,学生们也可以通过元分析作业的练习,增加对管理学研究中的元分析方法的掌握程度。
At present, meta-analysis is carried out more in the field of clinical medicine, such as evidence-based medicine, evidence-based social science and other courses, and fewer institutions in the field of management studies in China offer this course. In the design of the course system, this course needs to highlight the characteristics of meta-analysis research and methods in management research. Since meta-analysis often involves more statistical knowledge and more cumbersome derivation process, and management meta-analysis research pays more attention to the application of meta-analysis methods, so this course is designed to highlight the application of meta-analysis methods and practical exercises. In the classroom, students can quickly master the whole process of meta-analysis through a large number of research cases and the practical operation of software. At the same time, through the students' group report on the meta-analysis papers in the top journals, they can improve their grasp of the key points of meta-analysis research and their understanding of the implementation process of meta-analysis. Finally, students can also increase their mastery of meta-analysis methods in management research through the practice of meta-analysis assignments.
