讲座简介

Using meta-analysis, the present study aims to reveal the causal dynamics between government corruption and environmental performance indicators. 36 articles were extracted from current literature, uncovering three main linkages between corruption and environmental performance: direct, indirect and mediation effects. Further detailed analyses reveal how different dynamics are related to effect sizes. Particularly, using subjective measurements for government corruption corresponds with bigger effect size and direct effects are related to positive effects. Sample size and regression methods also prove critical. The study ends up with discussion of research findings and potential research agenda.

主讲人简介

苏徐红,现为美国南卡莱罗纳大学政治学系副教授， MPA 项目中心主任。主要研究领域为公共部门人力资源管理和科技政策等。

苏徐红老师在武汉大学获得学士、硕士学位，并在美国佐治亚理工公共政策学院学习、于美国佐治亚大学获得公共管理与政策博士学位。2010年至今执教于美国南卡莱罗纳大学大学政治学系。苏徐红老师在公共政策、政府人事管理等领域发表了多篇文章，其论文发表于Journal of Public Administration Theory and Research, Public Administration Review, Governance: International Journal of Policy, Administration and Institutions, American Review of Public Administration、Research Policy, Journal of Technology Transfer等SSCI期刊, 并任Journal of Technology Transfer 杂志编委。
